Returns Policy
Stacks Home Furnishings will accept returns within 30 days from the date
that the order was received in-home. You must contact us within 30-days
for return instructions. Failure to contact us, may affect our ability
to process the return and any corresponding credit to your account. You
will need to visit our Contact
Us page and choose Returns from the drop down menu, or call 1-800-761-5222
for instructions.
Our products are shipped not only from our California warehouse
but also from individual manufacturers across the country, and returns
are handled differently by each location. Some manufacturers charge
restocking fees and many require Return Merchandise Authorization
numbers (RMA). Please retain all shipping cartons, as well as any additional
internal packing material in the event that you need to return an item.
Please note that in some cases, it may be required to disassemble items
in order to qualify for return authorization, please keep this in mind
when requesting a return of any kind. This may also apply to damaged and/or
defective items.
Upon receipt of the returned product and/or return Tracking Number,
a credit will be issued to your account within 30 days, or no more than two credit card billing cycles.
Any orders paid by check or money order will be refunded by check.
When returning merchandise directly to one of our manufacturers,
it is critical that you provide Stacks and Stacks with the return Tracking Number,
so that we can verify the return, and apply any necessary credit.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping
fees, and the original shipping fee will be deducted from any credit.
Additionally, if your purchase qualified for "Free Shipping" the actual
cost of shipping your item will be deducted from your refund. To determine
these costs please refer to the Shipping Section of our site.
To
expedite your return, please supply StacksandStacks Homewares with
the order #, the billing name and address, the "Ship To" information
if different from the billing information, your return Tracking Number,
as well as a reason for the return.
Canadian Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with a Stacks and Stacks purchase or gift for any reason, please return it for a refund. Please note that this refund will include all duties and taxes that were initially paid on the items you are returning. Our customer care center will assist you with processing your return; please follow the instructions listed below:
How do I return something?
- Please contact our customer support team at 1-800-761-5222, 7:30-4:00
PST or, to email us, please visit our Contact
Us page and choose Returns in the drop down menu, indicating your
Stacks and Stacks order number, a description of the item you wish to
return and the reason for return.
- Based on the items being returned, we will communicate to you the exact value of your credit for the item(s) being returned. You will be credited for the product value and any related duties and taxes, less return handling fees for customs and brokerage, and restocking fees if applicable.
- Stacks and Stacks will communicate to you the mailing address for our Canadian returns facility.
- Clearly identify our Canadian returns facility address as the destination on the package labeling. When returning merchandise to Stacks and Stacks, carefully wrap the items and return them to the Canadian address provided with shipping charges prepaid. C.O.D. returns cannot be accepted and will be refused.

*Return reason codes: a) arrived defective, b) incorrect item, c) wrong size, d) changed my mind, e) other (explain).
- Put the returning item(s) and a copy of the original Packing Slip (with the Reason for Return Service section completed) in the original shipment packaging. Please include all product-packing materials.
- Present the package to any carrier, take the package to any post office counter or drop the package at any authorized carrier outlet to have your return shipped to the Canadian address provided. You may wish to insure your package for the full replacement value with your chosen carrier.
- Once received at our returns facility, your package will be forwarded to us in the U.S. and we will credit your return once the package has been received and processed in the U.S., typically within 14 to 30 business days after the package is sent.
- Credit card companies vary in the time it takes for a "credit" to appear on your monthly statement. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.

DAMAGED
OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
Be sure to open and inspect all packages immediately
upon receipt! Stacks and Stacks must be notified within 30-days of
your receipt if any item is damaged, defective, or missing parts. Please
call our office during our regular business hours, or to send an email,
please visit our Contact
Us page and choose Damaged/Defective Item in the drop down menu. Failure
to contact our office within 30-days may void our Returns / Damaged Item
policy.
If
the package appears to have been slightly damaged during transit,
we encourage you to write "Package Damaged" on the slip when you sign
for it.
If
the package is severely damaged you can refuse to accept delivery
of the shipment. Please let us know if this occurs so that we are
aware of the situation, and can replace your order, if desired.
Be
sure to keep all packaging, including interior packing materials and
any interior and/ or exterior boxes so that Stacks and Stacks can
submit a damage claim with the freight carrier. Items must be returned
in the original packaging.
Stacks and Stacks reserves the right to supply replacement
parts whenever possible to correct any damaged or defective component
of an item. Replacement parts, offered at our discretion, can often eliminate
the need to return an item, or to replace the entire unit. Such replacement
parts, will be sent via regular ground delivery, at no cost to the customer.
When a damaged product is returned, the credit will include any shipping
costs due.
