I ordered a large cover that was advertised to fit a unit 20" x 28". My unit is 16" x 24". While attempting to install, the elastic inside the cover broke, because it was too small for my unit. I contacted Stacks & Stacks who advised a replacement would be sent. After the first response I've contacted them 3 times and have not received a response, nor have I received a replacement. [...]

I bought this to cover the air conditioner in my bedroom/home office--my desk is right next to the window, and the drafts were so bad I had been taking the air conditioner out every winter, but that was expensive. This cover works quite well at cutting down the drafts that come through the a.c.--of course, it doesn't do anything about the ones that come around it, or through the window jamb. Also, it works best with the liner that comes with it; regular plastic bags don't work nearly as well, but the liner replacements are quite expensive.
