The infrared sensor senses your hand or debris from 6 inches away, and automatically opens the lid. The can remains open for 3 seconds before closing tightly. This stainless trashcan helps decrease the spread of germs, and the threat of cross-contamination.
The waste can is constructed of sparkling 304-grade stainless steel, so you won't have to worry about rust and water damage. Powered by four "D" batteries (batteries not included), or the optional AC adaptor (item #118362), which is sold separately, here! Also available, is the convenient wheel kit (item #118363) that includes 4 locking casters which aid in mobility of your trashcan!
