This durable children's furniture finish is an ultraviolet acrylic coating and it can be cleaned with products such as bleach or nail polish remover. With the simple swipe of a hand, you are able to clean permanent marker, crayon and more from the surface of this shelf. This environmentally friendly coating also prevents the yellowing of the wood, ensuring it looks great for years!  Features eleven-ply Baltic birch plywood, the strongest plywood in the world, with piles laid cross-ways to make each board strong and prevent expanding and contracting during seasonal weather changes.  Dowel-pin construction prevents weakening at the joints where most stress occurs and extends the product's lifetime by 50%.
