    In the past I have had other brands of these storage baskets. Most of them have been light-weight & flimsy. In moving the box was lost that held my hanging wire baskets, so I needed to replace them. These baskets are made from strong materials. They hold potatoes, onions, and just about anything else with ease. I have mine in the garage because it's cool there and it keeps the potatoes from sprouting. When the baskets get a bit dusty, I just swish them in sudsy water, rinse, hang them to dry & use again.
