Just got here, I was surprised at how durable it looks. It's exactly what I wanted when I decided I wanted to display fruits in my kitchen. We're a young couple and don't have a whole lot of money, and this was a great deal, especially considering a lot of other sites I looked at were as much as five times the price of it. The only thing negative I can think of is I don't want it to be too high to reach, and need to hang it from the ceiling. However, I think I can find a simple chain to make it hang lower, since the top is a hook meant to hang on something, I can just put the chain on the hook and attach that. Totally easy. The only negative is inconsequential, and made me notice something else I liked about it.

I bought 1 of these baskets back in Oct. 2009 to replace ones lost in moving. It's used in the garage to hold potatoes and onions that keep better in a cold place.
In Feb. 2010 I bought 2 more to use in the kitchen. They are in daily use and are still doing fine.
I was sorry to read another reviewer had a chain break, but I honestly have not had any problems with these baskets.
Am planning to buy another one to include in a bridal shower gift.

I got this to hold snacks and fruits. Since I have limited counter space in my kitchen, this is a real help. It's not quite as strong as I thought it would be, but it holds tangerines, lemons, garlic, and little snack packs very well. I hung it from a preexisting hook in my ceiling. The nice thing is that it gets all these little things off my counter top but still within easy reach.
