The spring tension keeps the adjustable dividers in place, wherever you put them. Can be used to divide drawers from front to back or side to side. Set of 2, as shown in picture. I was working on a project to organize all the drawers in the kitchen; these dividers are what I needed. Because of the size of the drawer, I had to improvise a little on installing them but I am quite pleased with how it turned out. It's great to have organized drawers and these dividers fit the bill.

Shopper: Do these stay in place, when they get bumped, or hit?

maria a: Yes they do...they have a spring that holds them securely in place. Works wonderful for my needs in kitchen drawers.

Kathleen C: Yes. I have had them in the drawers (used frequently) for 2 years. They are very very tight , spring loaded. Use them in heavy utensil, knife drawer and in a drawer that has aluminum foil, wax paper, zip lock bags. Work Great.

DAVE R: The spring loaded kitchen drawer organizer they are very sturdy and do not move at all unless you want to move them. Made a great difference in the draws as now are neat an in place. Cannot go wrong.
