The Fine diamond (25 micron / 600 mesh) side gives you a razor sharp edge while the Extra-Fine diamond (9 micron / 1200 mesh) polishes and refines it. The folding plastic handles protects the sharpener when not in use. No messy oils needed, you can either sharpen dry or with water.
