Drying Racks are a great way to get your clothes dry without using the electric dryer. With energy costs soaring, you may be feeling the need to cut back a little bit. A good place to start is in the laundry room. Electric and gas dryers use a lot of energy, which is costly for you and the environment. We have a great selection of drying shelves and racks for your laundry room. If you don’t have the space, consider a folding drying rack that is designed to go over the bathtub, allowing drips to go down the drain where they belong!

Folding Drying Racks

Folding drying racks have been around for a long time, for good reason. They are very space efficient, allowing you to set up your drying rack in seconds, and take it down when you are done. Some fold down to only a few inches deep, so you can slide them in between the washer or dryer and the wall. They are very easy to use, and are great for air drying towels, jackets and items that can’t go in the dryer. We have wooden, stainless steel and wire racks available. In the winter, a folding drying rack is a good place to hang wet jackets, gloves and hats.

Sweater Drying Racks

A mesh sweater drying rack is essential for keeping sweaters in tip top shape. Most sweaters can’t go in the dryer because they will be damaged, so they need to be air dryed. Hung on a hanger or over a bar causes unwanted bends in the fabric and wool. That’s why a flat shelf works best for sweaters – ours are made of breathable materials such as mesh. For even faster drying, try a sweater drying rack with a built in fan underneath it! A hanging sweater dryer has multiple tiers and can hang on a hook from the ceiling or right over your closet rod!
