The plastic post is designed to simply install over a standard 4x4 wood post. Included with the decorative post is a mailbox support arm with built-in paper holder slot. Medium mailbox recommended, minimum 7" width. Best suited for mailboxes weighing less than 16lbs. Please note: 4x4 wood post, mailbox, and mailbox mounting hardware NOT included.
