All the pieces were there - YEA! It is very heavy (particle board); using MDF would have reduced the weight by 1/3-1/2. Some of my shelve are a tad warped. Most of the assembly was easy (looking at the pictures (some extra text would have been nice). It took me about 1-1/2 hours to assemble by myself. Keep in mind you will need a large space to assemble the grid. One piece near the bottom (directions misleading) would have best been laminated on all four sides (the mfr was too cheap and couldn't spare one little strip) to prevent mistake in assembly.
Overall, I like it. I will use it for craft, card making and scrapbooking storage. I can also add some real DVDs and CDs too. Would make a nice cubbie for a child.
