The greatest thing about this item is the quality. Very well sewn and easy to clean.
I made a rather unique use of this product. All I was interested in was the TOP SURFACE. As such, I cut off the sides along with the spring setup while saving the hemming around the top surface. Then I laid the tops out on each of three drying trays. This provided a close-knit surface on which to place fresh blueberries without fearing that they would fall through the much larger holes in the original drying trays.
They worked like a charm (except the largest and smallest tops were a little too large and a little too small diameter-wise than the middle size which was just the right size). A welcome option would be to allow buying many pieces of any one size.
My gift/curse has always been to see other uses in products...and to modify as necessary.
