This deco-inspired Metropolis Contemporary Torchier Lamp by Adesso has a frosted glass bowl shade attached to a fluted metal socket. Below the socket, three horizontal disks of descending size float above a round pole that tapers as it reaches the round base. The base of this modern floor lamp appears to be floating above the floor as it sits on top of an 8" weighted sub-base. High/low socket switch located just below the shade.
