Haven't quite figured out where to use these yet but, I tried one and the motion sensor does work as it says. Product looks a bit cheap and mine came already scratched but, they are small and not easily noticeable so........would have prefered them in black. (only comes in white)

I bought 2 sets of these lights to put up a hall stairway that only had light switch at the top of the stairs, and for the adjoining hallway, to keep from running lights and the light bill up.

I was hesitant in that they require FOUR batteries EACH. But I was hoping they'd be worth the cost.

We LOVE the lights, they work great- not super sensitive, but accurate enough for walking up stairs and down the hall. Especially in the middle of the night when you don't want lights waking up everybody else in the house!They put out a good amount of light that isn't glaring when you're half asleep, but more than adequate to get where you need to be.

My toddler loves them- she thinks of them as grown up nightlights!


Unfortunately, the batteries only lasted 6 weeks. Now granted we have cats, but i put the lights up high enough so they wouldn't be going off constantly from the cats going by.

Instructions don't recommend rechargeable batteries, but replacing 16 batteries every 6 weeks is way too expensive.

So far the rechargeables aren't lasting as long as the regular batteries, BUT I CAN recharge them and don't have to buy new ones....

SO, I'd love to give these lights 5 stars, but the battery drain/amount of batteries needed.

These motion sensor lights are great, the LED lights use very little battery power. Illimunates enough area to help you navigate.
After you leave it shuts down and resets itself quickly for the next motion.
