Comments about Stacks and Stacks Mushroom Lacquered Side Table:

A very stylish and pleasing design. I use the table as a pedestal for a sculpture. However, I found the assembly especially troublesome. Also, when I finally did get the table assembled, I discovered that it was rickety and unstable, because the metal fasteners for the table top didn't tighten properly. I didn't want to send it back, because I loved the design. Fortunately, I was able to correct this defect by applying Elmer's wood glue to the joints between the top and the pedestal legs and letting it dry overnight to form a strong bond. Now the table is stable and looks great. But be prepared to use Elmer's wood glue, if you want the top to remain sturdy once you get the table fully assembled.
