The smoke stops instantly due to lack of oxygen. Allow several seconds to cool. Take cold cigarette from extinguisher and push against previous cigarette butt in the receptacle to dispose (NOTE: the receptacle is always sealed by the last butt, and therefore is odorless.) Made of polycarbonate material, the top removes easily for emptying and cleaning.
