After several uses, the green plastic cutter panel cracked and broke at a corner of the cutter blades rendering it useless. Buyers Beware - This thing is junk and you can't get replacement parts. Comments about Stacks and Stacks Onion Chopper: If you are anything like me and the prospect of chopping onions conjures images of quick trips to the local emergency room, then this product is a great solution. This chopper works much better than the round "rotating knife/press down" types, and cleanup is far easier. Just don't lose the comb-cleaner. The only drawback is that you have to make some large cuts to your onion (and don't forget to remove the skin!) and press down with some force.. but hey, that burns calories! The other item I've been eyeing to help with my kitchen-clumsiness is one or two "cut resistant gloves" - as used by professional butchers. |
