Also, the original information stated these shelves could only be placed in studs. [...] I love these shelves! They are attractive, functional and easy. I looked forever to find one small enough in length, but with a look of class. I ordered it in a litght wood tone. But ended up painting it black. I have a framed picture abouve it (framed in black) and several items on the shelf. Very, very classy! Love it in the black color. Pros
