This outdoor 12-line "umbrella" style laundry dryer is incredibly functional and will prove to be a real energy saver. The main structure is made from galvanized steel that resists corrosion and all 165 feet of drying lines are pre-strung leaving minimal assembly. The arms are made of aluminum. First, you will need a patio umbrella holder that has a WIDE, flat bottom. There are ones that have rounded sides and they are not sturdy enough to hold this upright if you do not install it in the ground. I was amazed as to how many loads of laundry this dryer could hold! Clothing, jeans, and towels can all be hung together without it toppling over. Now if it gets really windy it will blow over when laundry is on it. But all in all I was very pleased with this item and use it every day.[...]

This is great for renters or people that move a lot and don't want to concrete posts in the ground. It is very strong and has withstood winds of 30 mph with 2 loads of clothes on it. I love the smell of clothes that have been dried outside and the savings on the electric bill is fantastic!

I use this to reduce my electric dryer use. It works great. I can hang 2 loads on it at a time. It is very inconspicuous. Some stability issues it windy conditions. I have it in an umbrella stand that I have to secure with cinderblocks, but I live in a very windy area. I would definitely buy this again.
