Shopper: How much weight can it hold? Can it hold 20- 30 pounds?
Vicki B: I bought this for my parents, one wheelchair bound. They love loading this us with wine and food and sending down the elevator to the deck below for entertaining. The tray disengaging and becomes a serving tray. I'm not sure of the pounds it will hold, but for everyday entertaining, it's sturdier than the picture looks. Hope that helps.

SHIRLEY L: I wouldn't overload it - it's a tea cart, not a wheelbarrow = but it should be able to handle 20 pounds, It's well-built and we use it to move food, supplies, dishes, pots, etc. from the house to our patio and grill.
