The Palm Frond Ceiling Fan Blade Covers bring sleek, tropical style and an added cooling effect to any ceiling fan. With a practical design these covers are an unexpected way to bring style to any room that could use some sprucing up.

Give your ceiling fan a new look with these palm leaf-shaped ceiling fan blade covers, which also increase air flow. No need to spend hundreds of dollars for a new ceiling fan - just slide these decorative palm "fronds" over the blades of your existing ceiling-fan to instantly create an updated style. Unlike traditional arrow blades, these fan blades are flat and wide so they force air outward. You'll notice better air distribution throughout the room without a strong downward flow. Installation is easy: just slip a cover over each blade and tighten. Palms come as a set of 5; will fit blades up to 6" wide. Crafted of ABS Resin (a fiberglass, plastic, and resin hybrid). Available in your choice of Ivory (#10901), Sand (#10902) or Burl (#10903) Each ceiling-fan blade cover measures 15" W x 23" L. These were very to install once I figured out that after sliding onto the existing fan blade, they need to be "lifted" over the metal brackets which hold on the original blade. they look great and a great price too!

Shopper: Do these blades have a 3 bolt pattern 2 horizontal and 1 vertical?

Jeff J: Not sure exactly what you mean, but there are two slots that the existing fan blade will slide into and then you tighten the provided screws to secure. Just google fan blade covers and there are several pictures.

Patricia L: Was not able to use... Too heavy for fan motor and unable to "turn" fan. There were 2 "thumb screws" for attaching.

Kent J: I really don't understand the question. Just slide the blades over existing fan blades and tighten down with screws that are provided. they are so easy to install. All you need is a ladder. Hope this helps. Kent

Linda R: No, they have 2 horizonal.

Maryann S: Love these!! On the top side there are 2 horizontal bars, where you slide your current fan blades under each one. Little tricky but the plastic does give - a little - easier once you get past the raised outer lip. After they are on the blades, there is a screw centered on the horizontal bar where you just slightly tighten so the blade doesn't move inside the horizontal bars. Easy to install - looks great.

Peter P: These blade covers do not have any bolts. They have straps on the underside and simply slide over the blade. They will fit all fans I believe. The straps are taught and we had had no problems with them since we bought them in March of 2011. Hope this helps

Matt M: Tony, Here are some answers customers of these covers have given to similar questions: "Just be aware that these are big blades, so your fan would look much larger and work more like a larger fan. You will find that these blades move a lot of air and don't need fast speeds to cool most rooms. The air seems to spill off the ends of the blades making the fans work even better." - Terry G. " I am happy with them. Just remember... the fan will have to be on high speed or it will barely move." - Jerry M. So yes, they do slow down the speed but actually increase the air flow because their large size does a better job of moving the air.

jerry m: No. I think they should be fine. The blades look look much better on the fan. Coming out of the box they look iffy. I am happy with them. Just remember... the fan will have to be on high speed or it will barely move.

LINDA E: My fan has 48 inch sweep and they fit fine...they slide right over the existing blade so guessing if your blade is shorter it will hang over the end more....each blade of mine is 20 inches long

Terry G: All of my fans are 52 inch but I think these would fit your 44 inch fans. Just be aware that these are big blades, so your fan would look much larger and work more like a larger fan.
