I placed it just above the dishwasher and close to the kitchen bar for convenience. It stores a compete set of my dishes. I stacked bowls on top shelf. Mine is mounted into a log wall so I have lots of support. It freed up cabinet space.

Shopper: Is it solid on the bottom, or slotted? I'd like to hang it above a sink and use it for a drying rack. Would that work or would water puddle in the bottom?
