Purchased for my teenage son who is about 185 lbs
he likes the look of the design and sturdiness. The desk area is big enough to have a friend sit with him and he has enough surface area to do homework and put extra books on the bookshelf that is included. If something spills there's really no worries because of the metal surface which is easy to wipe clean. The whole piece is very large so I would not recommend it to people in small rooms or that have low ceilings. You will need quite a bit of room for assembly and all the packaging materials, the assembly is fairly easy though. This bed was definitely packed extremely well! It comes in two very large boxes that are heavy because this bed is heavy metal not some flimsy metal bed that most stores have available. I would only recommend some type of padding package to the manufacturer for little ones so they wouldn't hurt themselves on the metal frame of the bed. Overall we are super happy with the bed and would definitely recommend it to other potential buyers! Thank you for a great piece of quality furniture that will last for years.
