I recently purchased four more of these useful CD racks after buying four about a year ago. They fit perfectly in the shelves of the built-in bookcases in my study. I am using them as purchased but they could be painted or stained. They are well made, inexpensive, and serve my purposes perfectly.

Great for CDs but only in jewel boxes...

These CD racks are well constructed and a great price. But...only CDs in standard size jewel boxes will fit on the racks. Any specialty CDs that are a bit larger in size or cardboard collector CDs that you want to wrap in the plastic wrappers will not fit!
