The cardboard inserts are too small for the box - defeating the whole purpose of securing ornaments. There are big gaps on all four sides between the cardboard inserts and the edge of the box. Ornaments will fall through to the bottom of the box. Out of the 20 "individual grid compartments" on each level only the central 6 are secure. All 14 compartments along the outer edges will need bubble wrap or lots of tissue paper or else your ornaments are going to bounce all over the place and fall to lower levels. We were hoping to avoid lots of extra wrapping. The "grid" inserts do not fit the box. The box is much bigger.
