My brother has a slight difficulty with his walking and was always apprehensive when entering his shower. Since using this mat, he is careful but not as apprehensive when entering and exiting the shower.

We have previously used a different mat in the shower and it got so dirty and was hard to clean. We just put this one in the wash and get it clean, tho. It's great.
