This product has many attractive features. The wooden seat is finished well and of good quality. Sizing is generous and construction sturdy so that it should safely and comfortably bear the weight of most people. And, it's a bit higher than normal which is good for those who have difficulty raising or lowering themselves from a seated position.
However, it was difficult to assemble; all parts were provided but no optimal assembly order was specified. The holes in the metal tubing didn't quite line up between a few of the support pieces, and the drill holes in the seat were positioned for a slightly different support structure than the one provided. I got it together anyway by misaligning some screws, but if the intended user was elderly or disabled, I'd do some redrilling.
For me, sizing is a problem; the stool is far too large to fit into my tub. So, I'm using it as a utility table because its shape is good for an odd corner. Perhaps it is sized for institutional use, or for the "luxury" bathrooms that gained popularity in recent decades.

This product is a great value. I would have rated it 5 stars but the assembly was a little more difficult than I expected. Well worth the effort, however.

The assembly instructions were poor (no text, just some ambiguous pictures) I put the item in the shower, and noticed that within a week there were serious rust stains on the wall and floor of the shower. I would definitely not recommend this item to anyone.

Overall, I am satisfied. The flawed pre-drilled hole does not appear to lessen the usability of the product.
