I have this hung on the back of my closet door and use it to store scarves and shawls. Most products of this type have only three bars for hanging things.

Product description noted that rack was sized for what I think is standard-sized interior door thickness (1 5/8"). The over-the-door hooks were quite a bit bigger than this, which interfered with closing the door. The rack was a bit flimsier that I'd expected. Also, rack includes 5 bars, but I don't think it could accommodate more than 2 bath towels (using top and bottom bars). In general, not a bad buy, given these caveats.

The over the door towel rack hangs approximatley two inches off of the door which allows the door to be opend without banging the unit against the wall. The unit is strong and allows for several towels to be hung from it at one time.

I bought this rack to hang my large scarves/wraps on. It really worked out well. It hangs on the back of the door, and scarves stay neat and wrinkle free. I would recommend this item to any fashionista.

Great item! Well made, sturdy. Versatile-- I'm using it in my front hall to store my big collection of winter scarves. Fits various size doors including my antique non-standard size door.

I loved the fact it is skinnier than others and was able to fit in my linen closets. Highly recommend to those who have those skinny linen closets in apartment housing.

If all you want to hang are hand towels or washcloths, this will work, but it's not wide enough to use for hanging damp bath towels. Quality is fine - heavy gauge. Just kindof miniature for my needs.
