I needed something to rescue our older plumbing from my long hair in the shower. This stays put, does the trick. I highly recommend it for all of you out there who hate using a pipe snake and draino every week!

The ONLY problem is that my shower drain is technically larger than the diameter of the protector. That being said, I decided to place it in the drain anyway. And everyday, all the time, it STILL catches hair in it! So I would say it works fabulously--only wish the diameter were larger.
