Would add small bars on either side that would hold wash cloths. Would also make the inside bar a stationery one. It's hard to hang a towel on something that's moving around.

I needed a small (in width) towel rack and liked the look of this one. It was easy to put together despite the lack of real instructions. Only a part list and diagram of which parts go where was included. You have to put the pieces together in a particular order or you'll end up taking it apart to fix it. Luckily I caught that. Seems sturdy enough. The real problem is that the two bars meant for towels are about 3-4" too short to accomodate regular bath towels. They end up bunching up on the bottom shelf, making the shelf pretty much useless. This COULD be a great item for small bathrooms if it were taller.

I was leary (but hopeful!) of a towel stand that was so inexpensive. It's true - you get what you pay for.
This was easy to put together, but is flimsy even after putting lock tight on each screw. The bottom two rails do not actually screw in, they are placed there and spin precariously.
The stand is not tall enough to actually hang bath towels on; you must fold them in fourths in order for them to fit. Once you fold them in fourths, they are too thick to actually hang three towels in each rung. Even with the towels folded up, the stand is too short to have them hang and put anything on the bottom shelf, making it useless.
If you are looking for a true towel stand, save your time and money and buy something else. I think I may repurpose this in the laundry room or just donate it. Not even worth the bother of trying to ship it back after putting it together.

It is a small bathroom with no towel racks on the wall. I wanted a place to keep towels and hang wet ones to dry. No local stores had anything like it. This one is perfect-small enough to fit our space but big enough to hold both used and unused towels, with room to allow them to dry.

This rack fits well beside my clawfoot tub. Looks nice, sturdy, and well made. Only thing I dislike about it is that I can't hang my big , thirsty , towels on it without double folding them...it isn't tall enough...but otherwise a good buy.

I ordered two of these racks. The product was easy to assemble with all appropriate hardware included. It has proven to be sturdy and performed the tasks for which it was purchased. I have been very pleased with this product.

I purchased two towel racks and have been very happy with them. You can not only hang your towel but you can stack clean towels on the bottom shelf and put toiletries on the top shelf.

I searched several websites for a product such as this...one that was in a reasonable price range and looked sturdy. This is a great towel rack. Easy assembly, very sturdy and looks like an upscale product. I saw a similar one at a very famous bed and bath store and it was over $50! So, this is definitely worth purchasing!

I do like this towel rack very much, but have noticed that it is beginning to get a bit scratched up and it's a short time since I have been using it. A bit disappointed in the way it's wearing.
