Finally! More Closet Space! Free up some space in your closet with a set of stacking bed lifters! Bed lifters raise your bed in minutes, giving you a space-efficient storage area, which will in turn leave you more room for clothes in the closet and around the home. These solid wood bed risers can be stacked to give you even more underbed storage space. Available in two elegant finishes, these bed risers fit casters, square and round bed posts. Please note that, due to both finishes being composed of wood, there may be slight differences in color. The mahogany finish may also contain hints of red. One set of blocks will raise your bed 2 3/4" to 3 1/2". Add another set of blocks to gain up to 7" in height! Set of 4. Inner circle measures 3" in diameter and 3/4" deep.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

Far better looking than most designs available! Certainly, more durable than the plastic versions of bed lifters. Priced well for solid wood. Adequate room for bed frame casters to rest securely into blocks. I had a hard time getting all four under the bed frame by myself. Would highly recommend taking mattress and box spring off before placing lifters under frame.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

So, I tried these and was disappointed that they didn't work on my bed, but think they would have been fine on most beds. The bed I tried to use them on is from the 1940s and has small casters, and the bed is on carpet, so when I used the lifters in pairs (as they are advertised to be able to be used for double the height) they would start out nice and stable but over the course of a day or two would get quite wobbly. I think if I had a hard floor and/or a different bed they would have worked just fine. They were solidly made, much more attractive than the plastic bed lifters I've seen elsewhere, and fit together nicely when stacked using the included metal rods.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

I like the look of a low bed so instead of using a box spring, our master bed is on plywood in a regular bed frame with a medium stained headboard attached. The bed still needed a little more height. I did not want to use the plastic ones found other places because the floor of our bedroom is directly in view when coming up the stairs. I was thrilled to find these hefty wooden "stackers". I ordered the dark color. It's not the same color as my headboard but under the bed they look similar enough not to draw attention. I am very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend stackers.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

We needed to raise our king size bed because the bedspread was a bit too large. These items lifted the bed to exactly the height we needed. Only problem was I needed 6, not 4, so I had to buy two sets. Also, raising the bed with the mattress still on is a two-man job (because the lifts arrived while my wife was out, I ended up using a car jack to lift what I thought was going to be the easiest leg - but that approach worked well).

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

My aging mother has been unable to sit in her comfortable reading chair since her mobility has been failing - it was too low to allow her to get into a standing position on her own. These blocks raise the chair enough so that she can comfortably stand, and after months of being restricted to upright, rather hard chairs, she can relax again. The wood blends with her furniture so it doesn't highlight the risers.

I bought these to raise my bed in the master and they are perfect. I wanted a bit of extra storage and just raising the bed. What is really nice about them is the color. My bed frame is darker and they match perfectly with that wood. They are made of wood, not plastic, which most lifters are. I maybe wanting to get another set to raise it up once more as you have that option of stacking them. They are very well made and worth the money.

We put the bed risers under the two sofas in our living room and they are perfect because my husband is 6' 2" and he had trouble sitting on the sofas because they were so low. Now he is really enjoying the fact that they are a higher and easier for him to sit on. His tall brothers are also happy when they visit!!

The color is perfect also, as it matches the color of the floors in our living area.

As stated elsewhere, these are very durable and do create new storage space under a bed, but 4 risers are not enough for a queen, king or california king bed, which are certainly the most common sizes. 6 are required for them and in fact this is my 2nd purchase of them for that reason.

I used this product to raise my bed for the look,
and also to have room to store things under bed.

I like the look & style of the wooden stackers instead of the ugly plastic ones.

The only thing that is not great about the stackers is they come in sets of 4, the problem with this is a king size bed you need 6 blocks so now i need to buy another set of 4, and only need 2 blocks. Is there any way I could buy 2 wooden stacker blocks?

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

We are tall in stature and larger than average. Our most comfortable reclining chairs sit low and the risers increase comfort in sitting and standing up from sitting.

A larger and rectangular opening on the opposite side of the round one would make the riser much more adaptable to leg shape and sizes.

The weight of the risers is good for beds and large chairs.

We needed 9" of clearance so we tried to stack two blocks together. They would fall down if the bed was jostled very much. Works great if you only need one block heigth of clearance

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

They were easy to install and have been completely reliable in terms of sturdiness (we only have one level of lifter). The only drawback is it is hard to access the outlet behind the bed. You have to take the bed off the lifters and then move it. That says a lot for their reliability. The oak color also looks good, you can't tell they aren't part of the bed.

Purchased 2 sets of stacking blocks. Would recommend using only one. I tried to use 2 sets and the bed shifted and fell. The blocks are very well made and worked using only one set.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

Husband had to route out openings in blocks meant for bed legs as legs were slightly larger than the space in the blocks they needed to fit in. Also needed 5th one for center bed support so had to improvise with plain wood block. Bed does feel secure on blocks and now can get storage bins under bed.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

This product did exactly what I had hoped. Although, it would have been nice if each block were in two interlocking pieces for that you could use it at half the height or the full height. I really only needed about 2 1/2 - 3 inches height. Otherwise, it is a great product.

Fabulous for my parent's sofa
By Claudia from Kirkland, Washington on 1/31/2007

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

I ordered these bed risers for my parent's living room sofa. The sofa was too low for them to sit on. These risers worked beautifully. They fit on both wooden legs and casters. I ordered the mahogany color. They show a little under the skirt of the couch, but look very nice. They look good, the couch is very stable, and now my elderly parents can easily sit on their couch and get up from it.

I have been having back ...
By francine from Undisclosed on 1/23/2006

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Bed Lifters - Wood:

I have been having back problems, and have finally come to the realiziation that the desk at my office is just too low. I am a fairly tall person and sit at a standard height desk for eight hours or more a day. I was reluctant to raise my desk because I did not want my desk to look unprofessional. I came accross this product on an internet search. They seemed to be the same color wood as my desk, and I hoped that one would not be able to notice them. They have been effective and now I have a greatly improved posture. The color of the wood stain perfectly matches my desk, and they are barely noticeable. I wish I had come accross these years ago.
