These hangers have great grip and work well for skirts as well as pants. I was concerned that the black rubber would rub off on light colored clothes but it doesn't. The biggest problem is that the hook can spin 360 degrees and if you don't pay attention can end up on the wrong side of the garment making it impossible to lock in place. The grippable rubber holds the clothes well but also stick to each other when hung side by side in a tight closet. Overall, they are a huge improvement over picking wrinkled skirts up off the floor when they slip from flimsy skirt hangers.
