Comments about Stacks and Stacks Shoe Rack - 50 Pair Freestanding:

I was skeptical but it has been a great organizational addition! It only holds about 40 pairs of shoes for me but i wear a 9-10. I read alot of comments before purchasing & 1 states you have to read directions & it's true to assemble correctly! Also it needs to be on a flat surface opposed to carpet but it doesn't take that long to assemble. It was so great i bought 2

I finally found something useful. This stores most of my shoes and I am able to see everything at once to decide what to put on that day. Very practical.I tried those round things which were to bulky and heavy. This fits next to the wall and takes up very little space.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Shoe Rack - 50 Pair Freestanding:

I used this show rack inside my coat closet right by the entrance to my house. I and my hubby have quite a lot of shoes and it wasn't neat to stack them in the closet and even on the floor by the door. Now everything is hidden and my entrance is so clean. I'm very satisfied!

It seems that we have millions of shoes in the house and I am always stepping on them. We moved a lot of shoes to this rack and placed it in the garage. It is perfect and with three young children, it helps get the shoes out of the way.

The first one I bought fell apart in a couple of months. So, I stupidly went out and bought another one--which fell apart in a matter of weeks. Cheap plastic construction that breaks at the connection points.

Sturdier than I expected for the price. I used a rubber mallet to assemble it and it was easy, almost fun! Slim profile fits in my closet nicely and gets all those shoes in a messy pile off my floor.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Shoe Rack - 50 Pair Freestanding:

This shoe rack is a life saver. I am now able to view all my shoes at a glance, instead of having them cluttered at the bottom of a dark closet. It also helps to keep me organized because, once I select a pair to wear, there is an empty space left for me to easily return my shoes to the rack at the end of the day. Perfect! Love this thing. Now I couldn't imagine life without it. ;0)

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Shoe Rack - 50 Pair Freestanding:

I purchased this particular Freestanding 50 pair shoe rack because it stated that it is weighted at the bottom and would not tip over even on the thickest of carpets. It was more expensive than the other one offered but I needed a heavier version. When it was set up it immediately tipped over. The only way to use it is to secure it to the wall with wire and nails. This part was definitly dissapointing!

I like this product...however it seems to be a little wobby when loaded up and on carpet. I quickly fixed that by adding a few zipties and attaching them to the wall. Now it works perfectly.

The rack could only fit 4 pairs of shoes per shelf, which equates to a 40 pair shoe rack vice 50. It cannot stand alone and support the weight of shoes when completely filled

Good product
By E. Satterthwaite from Undisclosed on 1/4/2007

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Shoe Rack - 50 Pair Freestanding:

I have not had any problems with this product. I had a hard time finding a reasonbly priced shoe rack that would hold this many shoes. I use it for my off season shoes - so I am not accessing it everyday. My only two "complaints" would be 1-it is a bit over priced for what it is and 2-it is not the most sturdy when placed on thick carpeting (like you would have in a bedroom).

Excellent Product but you have to assemble it correctly
By P. Bennett from Undisclosed on 5/25/2005

Comments about Stacks and Stacks Shoe Rack - 50 Pair Freestanding:

I'm not sure what Cherany Skelton was talking about, but I suspect she did not assemble it correctly. You have to follow directions EXACTLY or it will not stand correctly. You have to assemble it on a hard surface (not carpet) using a rubber or small steel hammer. Once the steel rods are properly seated in the plastic holders, it will hold quite a bit of weight. All of this is stated very specifically in the instructions. I recommend the product highly as long as it's assembled correctly.
