I had to bang the dowels into the pre-drilled holes and at first, they didn't even fit in after the banging, but I kept at it...and then, after all that hard work, the drawers wouldn't slide in easily. So now, I have to sand them until they fit!

I got 8 of these for my salon. We made carts our of them by stacking 2 together and adding casters to the bottom one. They go well with the decor, and are heavy enough to stay put when the drawers are pulled. The drawer pieces needed some sanding and modification to open and close smoothly, and there were a lot of dangerously sharp edges to sand down.

I liked this product. It was easy to assemble with just a screwdriver and hammer. All the parts were there and carefully packaged. It looks nice on top of the paper tray I also ordered and holds enough to be very useful.
