Ordered a second one for my daughter's 2 weeks worth of scrub tops & pants. I've had one which is now 10 years old and have never had a problem with it. It's strong and I've hung winter jackets, sweaters, shirts, etc. I've not used it for coats, but still, It's worth purchasing if you need extra hanging space. I love mine and my daughter says it's so convenient and out of the way.

We have our laundry in our breakfast nook and there were no places to hang our clothes. We found InstaHanger and installed it on a skinny wall area dividing the nook area from our family room. We can easily do laundry, hang shirts right out of the dryer, and then when the laundry goes upstairs, the InstaHangers fold down to almost unseen. We LOVE them and will NEVER be without them. We've been using ours for at least 5 years with NO PROBLEMS at all. NO bending of the metal, NO cracking of the plastic. They are absolutely a MUST own if you need just a little extra hanging room.
