I bought this item for under the bed shoe storage and was very disappointed with it. It went to the trash about 2-3 weeks after I got it. It ripped within the first week of use and the plastic dividers are not connected to the bottom so all of your shoes slide under the dividers and it turns into a huge mess. I trashed it and got some plastic bins to put my shoes it.

I bought three and they have a lot more storage than I thought they would. They're huge, so unless you have a high bed, they won't fit. Pretty sturdy and stack well--I have 2 stacked on my closet floor. One section did break already--think they're best for flats or light weight shoes. High heels and boots don't fit too well. Overrall, I'm glad I got them though. They've really organized my big mess of shoes.

If the shoe storage case had cardboard or plastic inserts to hold the bottom, the sides up and to keep the compartments separated it would really be a great product.

The underbed shoe chest is great to swap out spring/summer shoes with fall/winter. It is very narrow and fits under our king bed and allows for our closet to be less cluttered. The separaters are not defined as I would thought but it does provide flexibility with the type of shoe you put in there. Thanks!
