Rack falls apart
Cons:
Flimsy

When it was put together and started to place shoes on it it started to fall apart. The metal rods just came out of the weak plastic sides. They were light weight womens dress shoes.
What a waste of money I must say.

Horrible

Would have saved space
Cons:
Flimsy
Best Uses:
Garbage

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This Product is VERY disappointing PLEASE DO NOT purchase it. It initially fell over so I reversed it and placed it against the wall. then the flimsy plastic sides just collapsed and without heavy shoes on it. even thought it is too thin for boots of any kind anyway. Overall, A COMPLETE MESS!!!, and what a shame because it does hold up to 50 shoes...just not for long.

Worth the Buy
By Rach from Boston, Ma on 6/28/2008
Pros:
Lots of Storage
Cons:
Flimsy, Unattractive Design
Best Uses:
Closet, Space Saver
Describe Yourself:
Renter
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This rack is flimsy but if you put it together by really hammering the bars into the plastic and when it's completed go over all the bars again with the hammer, it will last a while standing up. It must also be placed in an area where it wont be continually brushed against as that will also weaken the already poor strength. It is worth the money if you have a lot of shoes though!!

This product didn't even hold 25 pairs of shoes before collapsing and falling forward. I would not recommend buying this.

Does not hold up to 50 pairs of shoes.
By HVerified Purchaser from Fairview Park on 5/19/2008
Pros:
Small space save
Cons:
cheaply made, Flimsy, Not sturdy, Unattractive Design
Best Uses:
Space Saver
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have only had my Shoe racks for about a month. All it is is flimsy plastic with metal bars. It will "fit" 50 pairs of shoes, but it will NOT hold "50" pairs of shoes. The bottom two layers of the racks bent and will not reform. The bars keep falling out. So instead of buying 3 racks that hold "50" pairs of shoes I got 3 racks that hold 25. I am VERY dissapointed!!!!!

Life is Easier!
By noybVerified Purchaser from Reston, VA on 1/18/2008
Pros:
Lots of Storage
Cons:
None of the above
Best Uses:
Closet, Getting Ready, Space Saver

I put this in my small walk-in closet and am delighted. It's sturdy enough (I have it against a wall) and really does hold all my shoes with a little room to spare. It makes getting dressed so much easier, and now I don't have to keep a step-stool in my closet to reach the top box of shoes.
Since most of my shoes are heels, I find that sometimes I have to turn the shoe a little sideways to get it out without disturbing the shoe on the rack above it. Small price to pay!
Went together easily, works great.

It was a little shaky, but once we took some straps around one of the rails and screwed it to the wall it worked great. Good price.

Not as sturdy as it should be!
By flyingcowgirlVerified Purchaser from Sunset, TX on 8/22/2007
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

It should be made of a bit heavier plastic to hold 50 pairs of shoes. It looks as if its about to buckle under the weight; side structures are "bowing". its a great idea that could easily be improved upon.

Bottom Line:

This shelf seemed okay until it kept falling; I tried super glue, tied a wood stake along one side, it has fallen three times. I am very disgusted with all the work I have put into it to make it work plus all the picking up of my shoes. Right now my shoes are all over the hall clost floor and I am upset beyond belief. I bought a second one too and never opened the box while trying out the first one. Talk about you get what you pay for. Cheap and useless.

I LOVE IT BECAUSE I OWN A LOT OF SHOES BUT I TRIED PUTTING THE LIGHTEST AT THE TOP AND THE HEAVIER SHOES AT THE BOTTOM. BUT IT KEEPS COLLAPSING IN THE MIDDLE. I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE MORE STURDY. IT IS AWESOME AND I WISH IT WOULD WORK BETTER BECAUSE IT IS A SLIM SIZE AND FITS NICELY IN A ROOM OR A CLOSET. CLEANS UP THE MESS OF BOXES OF SHOES.

This was a great idea and I like it, but unfortunately, the weight of all the shoes causes the rack to lean and bend.
