I like that this rack is not angled like most shoe racks, so I have the option of taking shoes out of the box or leaving them in. Also, less slippage than other racks I have tried.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

I bought two of them, because I have a shoe fettish. I have alot of heels for work and tennis shoes for play, and it isn't quite sturdy enough. My boyfriend had to add some extra support to it. It needs to rest against something, or it may tilt. It really needs reinforcement. I didn't really like it much at all, but it gets the shoes off the floor. This item is good in theory, but not in reality.

This thing is an absolute piece of junk. The metal rods will not stay in place....as soon as you get one in, another comes out. It is so frustrating. I've even tried super gluing them in and it still won't work. I really wish I never would've seen this product online. I will never buy another product from Stacks and Stacks again!!

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

The rack does not hold 50 pairs of standard ladies shoes. Before I could fill all of the shelves, they started popping out. The idea and size is great! The usefulness leaves a lot to be desired. I could not twist the dowels in and then fit the other end in without another person. Once I started putting the shoes in place, the dowels started popping out and the entire rack started coming apart. I ended up putting the whole thing out for trash and having one made. A waste of my money....Dissatisfied

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

The old adage, "You get what you pay for", applies here. Considering the price, it does the job - gets all of those shoes off of the floor. A wider support base and / or horizontal supports to lean against a wall to stabilize it would have been nice.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

There is absolutely nothing great about it. While putting the product together, several of the pieces had un level ends so it would fall apart on it's own. When I finally forced it together, I put a total of 8 pairs of shoes on it and a piece of the plastic that holds the rods together buckled and broke. It is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent, and like the head line reads, I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF PAYING FOR FREE AIR!

This has to be one of the worst products on the market.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

I LOVED the product when I put it together and put my 50 pair of shoes on it. It fit perfectly in my closet and looked GREAT! My closet had never looked so clean. However, less than a week from delivery we heard a crash in the middle of the night. The shoe weight from the top portion (normal pumps and sandals) collapsed the bottom portion, and that was the end of that. Made of lousy, weak material.

It fell apart on me twice, it simply cannot withstand the weight of the shoes, considering I didn't even have 50 pairs on it. Picture finding your versaces, stuart weitzmans, cole haans all crushed and fell onto eachother in a 50 pair build up. It's horrid! Got rid of it and bought myself a sturdy shelf made of wood instead. What a waste of money! Bye bye my [$] down the drain.

First thing I use this to get my shoes fro under the bed and off the floor. This would be a great thing 1st thing I didn't receive all the bars to put this together so I'am only allowed to use only the bottom half. I don't think that the sside are strong enough to hold 50 prs of shoes I don't have 50 pairs on it and its seems to buckle after a while. If I did't have it supported against the wall I think it would collaspe.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

After I carefully assembled this, it held the weight of shoes for about a month, but over time, the vertical plastic parts began to bend, the various joints loosened up, and it collapsed.

After that, I tried various techniques to prevent this problem - double checking fittings, stabilizing & propping it, but each time within a week or two, it fell apart. Eventually I couldn't bear to pick up a fallen pile of shoes again, and now the rack is sitting in my basement ready to be discarded.

There is nothing good about this product.

It's a total waste of time & money.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

The instructions that came with the rack were wordless diagrams...adequate but not great. I used a rubber hammer to install the railings. Women who are assembling the rack may find just force-fitting without the hammer would not likely be enough to stabilize the rack.
Once assembled, the rack was wobbly (as expected, since it is tall and narrow) but when the rack is against the wall and loaded with shoes, it's fine. Manufacturer's suggestion to tie it to the wall will definitely stabilize it if it is likely to be bumped.

I put this in my laundry room which doubles as a mudd room to get the shoes organized. If I load more than 30 shoes it falls over and is very unstable no matter how many shoes. There is no way it would hold 50 shoes. I have to pick up the shoes, after the whole thing comes crashing down, and put this rack back together about once a week since installing it. I am looking for something better to replace it. The advertising for this is deceitful and misleading. Again I am stuck with this since your shipping is so outrageous. I will never use stacks and stacks again. everything I ordered was a disappointment. The shipping charges were absolute robbery 35% of the cost of the order.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

This rack is flimsy but if you put it together by really hammering the bars into the plastic and when it's completed go over all the bars again with the hammer, it will last a while standing up. It must also be placed in an area where it wont be continually brushed against as that will also weaken the already poor strength. It is worth the money if you have a lot of shoes though!!

I have only had my Shoe racks for about a month. All it is is flimsy plastic with metal bars. It will "fit" 50 pairs of shoes, but it will NOT hold "50" pairs of shoes. The bottom two layers of the racks bent and will not reform. The bars keep falling out. So instead of buying 3 racks that hold "50" pairs of shoes I got 3 racks that hold 25. I am VERY dissapointed!!!!!

I put this in my small walk-in closet and am delighted. It's sturdy enough (I have it against a wall) and really does hold all my shoes with a little room to spare. It makes getting dressed so much easier, and now I don't have to keep a step-stool in my closet to reach the top box of shoes.
Since most of my shoes are heels, I find that sometimes I have to turn the shoe a little sideways to get it out without disturbing the shoe on the rack above it. Small price to pay!
Went together easily, works great.

Not as sturdy as it should be!

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

It should be made of a bit heavier plastic to hold 50 pairs of shoes. It looks as if its about to buckle under the weight; side structures are "bowing". its a great idea that could easily be improved upon.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

This shelf seemed okay until it kept falling; I tried super glue, tied a wood stake along one side, it has fallen three times. I am very disgusted with all the work I have put into it to make it work plus all the picking up of my shoes. Right now my shoes are all over the hall clost floor and I am upset beyond belief. I bought a second one too and never opened the box while trying out the first one. Talk about you get what you pay for. Cheap and useless.

Comments about Stacks and Stacks 50 Pair Shoe Rack - Space Saving Design:

I LOVE IT BECAUSE I OWN A LOT OF SHOES BUT I TRIED PUTTING THE LIGHTEST AT THE TOP AND THE HEAVIER SHOES AT THE BOTTOM. BUT IT KEEPS COLLAPSING IN THE MIDDLE. I WISH IT WAS A LITTLE MORE STURDY. IT IS AWESOME AND I WISH IT WOULD WORK BETTER BECAUSE IT IS A SLIM SIZE AND FITS NICELY IN A ROOM OR A CLOSET. CLEANS UP THE MESS OF BOXES OF SHOES.

This was a great idea and I like it, but unfortunately, the weight of all the shoes causes the rack to lean and bend.
