I bought one and now am looking to add three more. I've had this chair for more than 3 years and it looks almost new. The backside of the back rest is wood and the back rest's design is subtle and creates the look of "high end" design and quality. From any angle this is an attractive counter stool. The tone of the wood blends well with the aged natural cherry cabinets in my kitchen. This stool's wood and design fit with any decor very nicely.
