This little cart is my best friend at work. I am a server at a fine dining restaurant in a casino. Because of a severe back and shoulder injury on the job, I was ready to quit the restaurant business altogether, after 30 years of doing this type of work. The manager did not want to lose me as an employee, so she asked me what could be done to make my job easier. I suggested searching for a cart to use instead of carrying the heavy food platters on my arms or using a tray.

I found this cart here, and had it shipped to my job. I began feeling relief within the first two days!! I had been in therapy for 9 months and nothing had given any relief because I was hurting myself every day at work.

This is the first time I have ever worked with a serving cart, and frankly, I had my doubts. Would it get in the way? Would it hold up under the stress of a busy day? How long would it last and could it be easily maintained?

This little cart holds up under the busiest conditions. I can put 4 large platters of food on it (I have never been able to carry more than 3 so it saves me at least one trip)plus the condiments. I have gained a lot of efficiency as well as eased the pain caused by carrying the heavy platters. At first, I was made fun of having the cart all to myself...it's too short for anyone else to use. Customers love having "table side service" with such a charming little cart.

I am more aware of how to carry equal weight, so I no longer will carry more on one hand than the other. My back and shoulders have begun to heal where nothing else has helped. I have not been to therapy in over two months now, and this is the busiest time of the year...I am doing almost triple of what I normally do in sales! I am feeling better and my attitude is more positive.

The cart did need a modification, as it came with plastic screws and the wheels were not secure. However our maintainence man made the changes, and all I have to do is tighten the screws about once a month. My boss has talked about getting another cart, but a taller one would be better for other people to use.

I walk about 20 miles a day on my job, and this little cart is still going strong after 9 months of use! I would certainly reccommend this cart to any server or cocktail waitress that needs to relieve the strain on their back and shoulders.

Service & Delivery comments:

This cart was delivered to the company in 5 business days. All the parts were there, however the instructions were not very well written but the picture was clear. The cooks had it all put together for me when I arrived at work.

Very poor quality. Handle is always loose because the screws fastening it in continually fall out. Wheels get stuck & don't put anything heaver than a glass of water on it. Last night the top
& middle shelves slipped out --- impossible to reinsert. This product has terrible quality control! Don't waste your money.

perfect small cart

This cart is a real step saver in our kitchen.Very well made and attractive, well worth its price. Assembly is not difficult but needs a bit of careful effort by a handy person. Its wheels are very good and fit and finish are excellent.Be sure to check and understand all the parts.
