This is a great piece of furniture that falls a bit short for my purpose. I wanted a small stand to allow placement of a satellite TV receiver and DVD player under my flat panel TV, which resides on the bedroom dresser. If the unit had been just 0.5-1.0 inches taller, then it would have been PERFECT! As it is, I can only put the receiver underneath. The DVD player sits off to one side. [...]This is the dark walnut variety.
