I own 4 of these cabinets and I use them to store my DVDs and CDs. It's great for storing large collections, which is the reason I bought them.
Unfortunately, over time, after weight has been in the doors for any significant amount of time, the doors begin to sag inward at the top, and the space widens between the doors on the bottom. This causes the doors to drag along the base wood and that scars it up. I haven't yet figured out how to fix this problem, but wish I could. The cabinets are beautiful but not very functional when you can't open the doors anymore due to the doors dragging. You literally have to lift the doors to open them.
I have owned these cabinets for 2.5 years.

I was pretty skeptical of this CD storage cabinet. We just went to a TON of trouble - and money - to restore this gorgeous stately home and we were faced with the challenge of how to elegantly keep our unweildy CD collection in a way that would be in keeping with the home. I doubted we could accomplish this goal without buying and retrofitting an antique. I am frankly stunned at the elegance of this affordable cabinet. And assembly was a non-issue, too. All you do is put in the shelves! It truly is a beautiful piece.

If I had to list a con, it is that, right now, there is a slight misalignment between the doors so that the gap is bigger at the bottom. We've been so busy with the restoration, that we've not had a chance to play with the hinges. I fully expect that this is resolvable.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable elegant solution to having a lot of CDs, DVDs, etc!

This multimedia cabinet is outstanding. The wood is solid and looks very expensive. I received this cabinet in perfect condition. It looks very expensive. I sometimes have problems with assembly and this product came completely assembled. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fine piece of furniture at an unbelieveable price.
