This lower shelf is great place to set extra shoes (if you're using this bench in your entryway), or a place to store extra blankets and bedding (if you're using this bench at the foot of your bed). This also makes a great window seat! These benches arrive unfinished, so you can stain or paint them any color you wish! Available in 36" or 48" length. This shoe bench is very high quality wood and is designed so it is easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. As a shoe bench it could use one more shelf under the seat, and could fit one easily. Other than that it is an excellent deal for the price.
