The twosome style are better than the threesome because the smallest of the three usually is too little. This set that I ordered looks a bit dark and did already have some minor scratches, but a little wood putty/stain or shoe polish will improve it a lot. I am still happy with them for they are inexpensive, functional, and easy to assemble.

The only problem I had with this is that on the large table one of the strips to connect the legs to was not connected and I had to go out and buy screws to connect it.
