We bought this ottoman because we wanted something soft to rest our feet on and a hard surface for setting drinks. So far it has served it's purpose wonderfully. However, putting it together was time consuming since there were no pre-drilled holes for the hinges. And after a week, one hinge fell apart. Luckily it doesn't affect our use of the ottoman much.
