It does hold the kids items in the back seat area, but it is rather flimsy. Kids can easily choose items and put them away safely while belted, but even slight bumps can knock things out onto the floor where they cannot be reached. The pouches could use some reinforcement or structure. All in all, it was a fair value for the low price. You get what you pay for.
