This worked well; my tree stayed fresh and flexible throughout the Christmas season. No leakage, and very convenient to use. I think the only way you could have trouble is if you weren't careful about the height of water in the reservoir as it relates to the top of your treestand, but the directions are quite clear, and following them should lead to sucess.

Eventually it worked as advertised (keeps tree watered) but you need to adjust the height so that bottom of the container is almost level with the water level you want in your tree stand. I had to try a few different items to prop it up before a found an inverted bowl that was the perfect height (I plan on wrapping that bowl next year so it blends in). Product also leaked a little from where the hose attaches to the container so don't put direct on a hardwood floor until you verify that yours does not too.

I am thrilled with this product. My Christmas tree was the BEST TREE EVER!!! We take it down on January 6th and the stem was still very green (and wet), all the way to the top. I can not recommend this enough. It saves you back too. Follow the simple instructions and you will be good to go. Have a "Merry Christmas"!
