Keeps freshly laundered clothes separated until they're hung in the closet, preventing bunching and wrinkling. Use it inside the bedroom closet door. Great because it's dependably sturdy. Sometimes the base lifts with the last garment removed, but that's just a matter of getting the knack of it.

We had recently redone my daughter's room and it was at her suggestion that we find something to fit over her door for hanging up jackets and other light items. When the door hanger arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was. It definitely was a smart (and inexpensive) way to reduce some of her clothing "clutter"!

This hanger is heavy duty and perfectly fits a 1&3/8" door, which is the dimension of most interior doors. The lady in the previous review did not receive a defective product. Rather, she was defective in measuring the door she intended on putting the hanger on - before she purchased the hanger. The dimensions of the hanger are clearly indicated on the description of the product. This is a great hanger for a 1&3/8" door!
