I’m always looking for furniture to do dual purposes, this table does that. In our small home we needed a ‘consol/sofa’ table, one we could use our lap top on, but could also be used for that once a year when we need extra seating for dinner. This piece fit’s the bill. [...]went together easily (four legs to screw in). As others have said, you need two people to pull it apart to put the boards in. It is a little high for use with the lap top, but we will make it work. It isn’t a great piece of WOOD furniture but it certainly fits what we needed right now. I would recommend this pieces for people who do not have a lot of room in their home but need additional table and seating. Would be excellent if the boards stored underneath. We purchased wood folding chairs with cloth seats from Essential and they match perfectly.

I live in an apt with a small kitchen and no dining room. This table is perfect for when I have guests because it looks nice against the wall until I need it, at which point I just pull it away from the wall and expand it. I haven't expanded it to it's full length yet, so I can't speak to the sturdiness at full extension, but so far, I'm quite happy with this table. The only advice I would give is that you should always use a table cloth. The surface when it's folded is fine, but when it's opened up, that surface scuffs easily.

Living in a Condo not much room. Needed a large table for Thanksgiving and other holiday family meals. This one I can also use for my computer. Beautiful quality workmanship for its price.

This is a great table! I put it in my remodeled sunroom. My daughter's comment was "this writing desk is so classic". Then I told her it was also a dining table! We pull it out in the living room to use it and it works great - sets up easy and puts away quickly. We need an extra table 2-4 times per year, so this is great, as I no longer have a dining room table taking up space that I have better uses for.

I use my table in the Motorhome. Replace a booth dinette set. This product was the perfect unit for a small space. I have already recommened this to my RV friends. I love that I can close it for travel and only have to had one leaf for our needs, but the last outng, I used both leafs for extra quests for dinner. The top leaf when open doesn't have enough support to use, so I removed it. The 2 leafs are enough for us, but wish I can use it in the future. Working on some type of brace under the leaf, then I will use it.

This is just so practical! If you’re like me and live in a small home but don’t use a dining table every day it seems like such a waste of space to have one. The trouble is that when I do need a dining table it’s usually to seat 6 to 8 people. But this clever little item takes care of that problem with ease. Whether I have a couple of friends over for a round of cards or my entire family for Thanksgiving dinner - I can choose between 4 different sizes to suit my needs. It’s far sturdier than I expected and it looks lovely in my entry for every day use… it would also be perfect as a writing desk or laptop workstation. But when it’s time to set the table it pulls out in a flash and folds right back up when you’re done – no muss, no fuss. I found the pull-out mechanism easy to operate and have used it several times without any trouble. Definitely worth every penny!

Worried about buying a table sight unseen, we were very pleased with this table. It is stylish, has a beautiful finish and works perfectly in our newly renovated basement. [...] The feature of being able to close the table when the large table is not in use is great. I would definitely recommend this table to anyone thinking about purchasing it!

The table arrived 1 week ago, and so far I am very happy. The color is a nice dark cherry, not as red as it looks on the website. The quality seems pretty good, smooth finish, legs and leaves are quite heavy.
One drawback for me is that the extra leaves have to be stored separately, I wish it had built-in storage. Extending the table is not too difficult but not a quick snap either.

This table looked MUCH better than we expected. We thought we would set it in a side room but have placed it in the entry hall. It works so well as extra seating and now we are decorating it with our Christmas VIllage. It is what it says it is. I have already recommended it to my neighbor.
