I use the Euro Lap Desk as a surface to place my laptop on while I am using it. I sit in my LazyBoy recliner with it in my lap. When I first purchased it, I had no idea how much I would love it. For more than a year now, I have spent from 6 to 8 hours a day using this product in this way, and it is still as good as new, and I swear by it. If something happened to it I would panic and have to get another one right away. Before I got this product, I tried several other products to help keep the heat off of my lap and allow the fans to operate freely. Not only did the other products fail to keep the heat off of my lap, but they also caused the laptop to overheat. This product is incredibly comfortable, the pillow is removable for cleaning, and it just works great for the purpose I use it for. If you have a USB powered laptop cooler (to keep the CPU cool), this lap desk accomodates it as well, no problem.

As an added bonus, because of the design of the pillow on the bottom, you can tilt it to whatever angle is most comfortable for your wrists.

Not great for traveling (too bulky for anything other than a full-sized suitcase), but I have noticed that some hotel/motel rooms are now including them, which is simply awesome. If they came out with one that could fold up to fit in a large laptop case, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Large enough for use with a laptop and mouse, but not overwhelmingly large. cushion is securely attached with Velcro which make it easy to wash if desired.
I work remotely online and am attending graduate school online which causes me to spend 10-15 hours a day on my laptop. This desk has made my life much more comfortable.
I bought one, now I am buying a second for my wife as she keeps "steeling" mine. :) HIGHLY recommended.
